Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is a botanical garden and museum that displays a variety of plants and artworks from different regions and cultures. It is located in South Park, a park designed by the famous landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted in Buffalo, New York. The botanical gardens have something for everyone, whether you are interested in horticulture, history, or art. You can see and learn about the following attractions and features:

• The Tri-Dome Conservatory: a glass, wood, and steel building that was designed by Lord & Burnham, a leading conservatory manufacturer of the time. The conservatory has three domes and nine greenhouses, each with a different theme and climate, such as the Palm Dome, the Fern House, the Orchid House, and the Desert House.
• The Outdoor Gardens: which include the Rose Garden, the Herb Garden, the Japanese Garden, the Shrub Garden, and the Children’s Garden. The outdoor gardens showcase plants suitable for the Western New York climate and have sculptures, fountains, and benches.
• The Art Exhibits: feature artworks by local and national artists, such as paintings, sculptures, photographs, and installations. The art exhibits change periodically and complements the plants and the seasons. Some of the past exhibits include the Lumagination, the Night Lights, and the Art in Bloom.
• The Educational Programs: offer various opportunities to learn about plants, gardening, and nature.
